Hi looking for some advice,

I got told i had gestatinal diabeties on the 23rd of December, they asked me to check my blood sugars before a meal, 2 hours after a meal and before bed.
this morning before breakfast my blood sugars where 6.7 but after breakfast they where 5.8? does anyone know why they would be higher in the morning when ive not eat anything since last night and lower at breakfast.
I'm 28.4 weeks and a bit paranoid incase they go up high during the night when i'm sleeping
