Morning, I'm hoping someone can help me with what to do - I have horrendous burning pain in my scalp and I feel heavy headed

It started yesterday when I thought my ponytail was too tight so I took my hair down and it felt worse, tingly and hot, took some paracetamol but it did nothing - it's just as bad now, my scalp hurts to touch it even move my hair

I'm trying to not panic but I have no idea what's wrong

I am also suffering from this and have been for two weeks along with a headache that won’t resolve with painkillers.

Occipital neuralgia is what’s mentioned on google but worth a GP visit x

Could it just be a migraine? Or possibly dehydrated make sure your drinking enough fluid but if nothing is shifting it I'd get a doc app.

Hi I'm also suffering from this. Are you guys still suffering from it? What was it?

Mehripoop · 06/04/2021 13:43

@Meera8 I’ve been suffering on and off since last summer! How are you?

Meera8 · 06/04/2021 23:14

Hi Mehripoop,

I've been suffering since since last April, so a year now.

I've just placed my hand on my head and 15 hairs came out. It's horrid.

I think it's menopause that's causing the hormonal imbalance that's causing a condition called serbtitis dermatitis - (spelt wrong), it's a skin condition. This skin condition is causing the hair to fall out.

How's things with you?
