Spotting 10 weeks, so worried!

I'm currently 10+3 and have had brown and pink spotting two days in a row starting at the same time and only lasting for a few hours. No real cramping or pains with it.

Had a scan at at 6 weeks and it showed a strong heartbeat and measuring right for the amount of time.

I went to my GP who referred me to EPU and I have a scan in the morning on 9/1/20. GP told me yesterday to go to A&E if there was any fresh blood, had some fresh blood that evening so went to the hospital. They were very busy and a bit dismissive but they did do bloods and told me all my levels were looking 'very good' so they don't think MMC but couldn't rule out it being the start of one.

I'm just super anxious and wanted to know if anyone else experienced spotting and increased symptoms at the same time a few days in a row??

Xx

H@FT87 Hi. I'm sorry you're going through this - I know how scary it is.

I had a MMC and a MC. Both times, the first signs were old, brown blood. That isn't to say that women don't have brown blood and go on to have a perfectly healthy pregnancy though - they do. But for me both times, the bleeding didn't stop and start, it was consistent. In fact, both times, I woke up in the morning and quite a bit had accumulated through the night, but it continued from there and didn't let up. The other thing - I had cramping too.

I really hope you get good news at your scan. Waiting is torture. All I can say is try to take it as easy as you can in the meantime and remember a lot of women bleed - it isn't always bad news xx

Also I did PTs and the line faded very obviously

I'm sorry for the worry hun, hope you'll be ok.

I've mc twice, both times it was straight into cramps and bleeding. Like painful period cramps and I didn't feel pregnant anymore, sickness went.

My mum bled near all 1st tri with me, to the point they said she was going to lose me and here I am today. My sister bled after 6 weeks too and everything was OK too.

I know it's hard not to, but try not to worry too much. Thursday will come around quickly now x

Hi!!

Thanks for replying to me and I'm sorry to hear that you had to go through that. This is my first pregnancy so it is all new for me and I feel a bit uninformed!

My mum had bleeding all through her second pregnancy and is telling me that to reassure me but I just don't think I'll feel reassured until I see a healthy baby on a scan.

The stopping and starting is so confusing because I feel relieved and then wipe a few hours later and there it is again 🙈

Xx

Hey

My last pregnancy i bled through heavily from 6 weeks.i didnt know then i was pregnant so thought it was my 5 day heavy period then spotted till 10weeks continuously.

Had a scan and everything was ok.just said i had a hematoma??(i hope thats right) Which is quite common among pregnant ladies.

Though i lost the baby way later on.it was totally UNRELATED to this.

When i was pregnant with my daughter..bled so much at 6 weeks for some days had to wear sanitary towels..and cramps and she was fine

Just want to keep your hopes up and hope for the best.😘😘

It’s awful but try not to worry too much. Some people experience bleeding sadly and it can be normal.

I had heavy clot bleeding with my second until about 16 weeks for no reason what so ever. He’s now a robust 4 year old with no issues at all

Thank you for the reassurance. It's crazy because prior to pregnancy you just think any bleeding = bad but I'm hearing so much about people who have bled and had full term pregnancies!
Hannsmum I'm sorry you lost your baby later on 💗

Hope it works out ok. You read the info and they tell you that spotting isn,t always bad news so it does give hope. (For me it was but lets hope your situation is different.)
