I was told I have O negative blood so they have to test to check if my baby is positive or negative- has anyone else had this?
Also, the heart beat was 153, does that give any clues on babies gender? I have attached my 12 week scan picture too

No, I just got told I needed anti d injections. Which I refused as I knew the dad's blood group.

I had the test, and it came back saying the baby was negative so I don't have to have anti d. They don't do it everywhere though.

If you believe that heart rate can predict baby's sex, then I think over 150 is meant to be a girl (there is no scientific evidence to back this up though!)

Also I have been having pain in my hips and lower back. She told me it was quite early for this and it will probably get worse 😬I have ordered a support belt so hope this will help

I’m A neg. My hospital do not check the baby’s blood group. You get the anti D injection regardless at around 28 weeks. They take blood from the umbilical cord once baby arrives and if baby is positive you get another dose of anti D.

I'm having a girl and her heartbeat has never been over 150...

Sleeping with a pillow between my legs helped a lot with the sore hips. Pregnancy yoga stretches was good for my achy back too.

Thank you @tableclothing, I will try that

They do the test at 16 weeks at my hospital. I had it in my last pregnancy (but baby was also found to be rhesus negative - so no anti D injections required).

I'll be having the test again in a few weeks' time for my current pregnancy.

I don't think he test is offered everywhere.

I'm having a boy and his HR is always 150-156 so I don't think there is any scientific facts around hr
