Hi Everyone!

I have got my BFP on FRER at 10 & 11 DPO and on clear due digital at 12 DPO showing 1-2 weeks
I know it is still early days and trying not to get our hopes up to soon but this would give rough dating of 3 +4 weeks and due date of 14th September!

This has happened on our first attempt at TTC so still very much in shock as we were anticipating it would take months. Haven't had too many symptoms just yet, some minor cramping/full ache at about 7-10dpo and sensitive nipples. Starting to feel tired and a tiny bit nauseas now aswell!

Is anyone else due in September? How are you feeling?!

Yes, you’ll have to change @LatteLover12. I tried the same when we moved a few years ago without the midwife and the surgery wrote me a letter asking me to find a new doctors 😂

LouiseD2018 · 26/01/2020 11:15

Congratulations to you all!!

Tentatively adding my name here, I think we are due very end of September.
We got a positive test Friday followed by 2-3 weeks digital on Saturday. The only thing I can think off is the period I thought was a light period 2 weeks ago wasn't!
I've gone over and over dates, I figured I either ovulated very late last cycle causing a breakthrough bleed or exceptionally early this month ie straight after the questionable period.
Given how dark my first test was when I believed I was 'midcycle' - symptoms drove me to test late Friday night! I am thinking the first scenario seems more likely.

We had an ectopic in 2018, and a few chemical pgs in late 2018 & 2019. This is the strongest line I've seen since the ectopic, and the most pregnant I've felt since my dd, who has just turned 11!

We had planned after our wedding next month getting fertility tests done because of the reoccurring chemicals, so until I had symptoms this week our minds hadn't been fully on a baby.

I'm hopeful, very nervous but more hopeful that this is an early wedding gift from mother nature!

We are weighing up when to call the early pregnancy unit, they said to book in for a 6 week scan, but I'm not sure when 6 weeks is and I don't think I could cope with sad news right before our wedding. Yesterday I planned to call them this week, but today I'm of the mind to take it day by day, if symptoms continue and no usual miscarriage signs come up I'll delay it. I'll probably change my mind again in a few days Hmm

Congratulations @LouiseD2018 😀😀😀

Zoetuxx · 26/01/2020 17:53

Congratulations @LouiseD2018, I think I’d call just because I’d need to know.

LouiseD2018 · 26/01/2020 18:02

Thank you. I may well call them, I guess I just don't want to go too early and have them see nothing then be in limbo for a week or two... I know my nerves would rocket then I fear I'd cause something to go wrong.
Nausea has been intense today, difficult but hopefully a good sign Smile

Jademoroc · 26/01/2020 18:35

Hi all congratulations Flowers I am currently expecting my 2nd baby roughly 5 weeks booking docs tomorrow for a check up as I’ve had 3 MC and an ectopic before I had my son who is nearly 11 years, I was sick from the get go with him lol all the way through and for now I just have a bitter taste in my mouth but we’re see fingers crossed no sickness to come. Anyone else symptoms similar ?? Oh and I think I’m due September 27th

raspberryrobins · 26/01/2020 19:31

Hi everyone!! So happy to have found this thread! Got my positive last Tuesday and from online calculators, i think im due 24th september. GP appointment in 3 days then he refers me to midwife (i think). Congratulations all! Im so excited but slightly confused, i felt sick sunday (hangover) then it continued 24/7 until friday. Yesterday and today ive been fine. Hopefully everythings ok

Zoetuxx · 26/01/2020 21:39

Hello @Jademoroc and @raspberryrobins, congratulations to you both :) I’ve been feeling okay so far! A bit of nausea towards bad smells but I remember I had the same when I had my daughters 7 years ago! I self referred to the midwives on Wednesday but haven’t heard anything yet, I have a doctors appointment this Wednesday for other things so I’ll mention it then :)

Must be hard for you @LouiseD2018, you have to do what’s best for you :)

Zoetuxx · 27/01/2020 06:41

I’ve woken up this morning to cramps and bleeding :( am I supposed to go to a doctor or just go through it like a period? I’ve never had a mc before.

Congratulations to everyone else, wishing you all the luck and happiness

LatteLover12 · 27/01/2020 06:52

Sorry to hear this @Zoetuxx

There's not much a doctor can do I'm afraid. I think just staying at home and taking painkillers is the next step. If you begin to feel unwell or pass any large clots (sorry) then you'll need to call someone.

I went to A&E with one of mine and ended up on a gynae ward but I think that's quite rare.

It's the worst feeling and I'm sending you lots of love xxx

Zoetuxx · 27/01/2020 07:17

Thanks @LatteLover12. I’ve taken the day off work, I did think there wasn’t much that could be done.

LatteLover12 · 27/01/2020 07:24

Take it as easy as you can today. I'm so sorry this is happening to you.

Also, I know this might sound obvious, but only use pads for the bleeding.

Give me another message if you're worried xx

Miltonj · 27/01/2020 10:20

@Zoetuxx really sorry to hear that. It's horrible.

I would recommend going to the EPU though so they can confirm miscarriage. They need to take your bloods to make sure hcg goes down at a normal rate to rule out ectopic/male sure you don't retain anything which could lead to complications.

Other than that just take it easy and make sure you're getting the support you need x

Zoetuxx · 27/01/2020 11:16

Thank you @Miltonj for your advice. I called epu and they said as I’m only 5 weeks they don’t scan until 6 weeks, if I still get a positive result in 3 weeks call them back. Just rest.

LatteLover12 · 27/01/2020 18:13

How are you @Zoetuxx?

Zoetuxx · 27/01/2020 18:16

I’m okay thank you @LatteLover12, cramping seems to have eased off, still bleeding. Not heavy but not spotting. Not optimistic that I’ll get a positive result in 3 weeks. Just feel a bit sad :(

BecsterG · 28/01/2020 07:11

Hi ladies, I hope you don't mind me joining. I'm due at the end of September so about 5+4 right now. Very nervous about this pregnancy as I had a MC in October 19. I was advised to go for an early scan (between 6-8 weeks) last time with future pregnancies so I'm going to call the EPU next week. Ekk I'll be so nervous.

I don't really have any pregnancy symptoms at the moment. The occasional cramp on the right which I think I remember having with my son but who knows.

Does anyone else not really have any symptoms?

X

lou1904 · 28/01/2020 10:00

Hey i wonder if I can jump on this chat too! I have recently discovered I am pregnant, currently 5 weeks and 2 days! Nice to meet you all and wish you all a healthy pregnancy! I'm still waiting for the midwife to call me with an appointment. In the meantime, has anyone had bad stomach cramps?! I'm not sure if it is something to be worried about or just trapped wind Blush haha! Xx

OldFirstTimeMum · 02/02/2020 13:46

Very excited to be expecting in 26th of Sept! I have felt pregnant this entire past month... only just confirmed! I was told eight months ago that I was menopausal and no chance of the much wanted child I’ve always longed for. I’m 47 and six weeks pregnant. Overjoyed. Prayers that I last the course

Jademoroc · 02/02/2020 14:25

Is anyone else feeling depressed and really emotional? I’m 6 weeks now and can’t stop crying I don’t remember being this bad with my son 10 years ago

UrsulaSings · 02/02/2020 14:52

@Jademoroc Yes. I didnt realise pregnancy could affect you so bad mentally/emotionally. I've been referred to the perinatal mental health team. I'm 8+2 and the last few weeks have been horrendous, but it has been slightly better the last couple days. I hear it does get better in 2nd trimester when placenta takes over and you dont have as many hormones zipping around.

Jademoroc · 02/02/2020 14:56

@UrsulaSings I’m really felling awful I have a scan tomorrow for reassurance as I’ve had 4 miscarriages I might bring it up to the nurse before I go in

OldFirstTimeMum · 02/02/2020 15:51

I am very emotional too. Crying over stupid nothings

OldFirstTimeMum · 02/02/2020 15:53

Lou1904 I have had cramps too. Feel sick right now and cramps. Emotional. In the middle of the night I craved a satsuma! I had to get up and eat one. I guess there could be worse things to crave

OrangeOutlaw · 04/02/2020 16:35

Ok to join? Discovered I was pregnant yesterday and due on the 29th September I belive.

Extremely, anxious that it all works out after so long trying ttc with my partner (18 months). Only found out because the lovely nurse in the infertility clinic ran a test the on day of our first appointment! So a 'too good to be true' surprise for the both of us.

@BecsterG other than sore boobs, really no other symptoms here either

Wishing you all the very best

X
