Pain that's stopping me doing normal things

Hi everyone. I'm 5+3 with my 2nd baby. (Background, I have kidney disease and a chronic pain condition in my joints). Since last night I've had the most intense back ache that feels like it's filling all my pelvic area and every now and then goes in to my right leg. It's to the point I'm crying out in pain and can barely move or sleep.
I was in a lot of pain last time but this is horrible and really getting me down! Any advice would be appreciated, thank you 😊

See your midwife and ask for a referral to a specialist women's physio. Contact any specialists who have overseen your care for your chronic condition to find out what medication or treatment you may be able to undertake while pregnant. Hope this gets better for you.

I haven't got a midwife yet, I'm waiting for a referral to a specialist hospital due to my kidney disease. Should I try the GP? With it being Christmas referrals are going through slower than usual. Struggle with pain relief, I take codeine but cut the dose down a lot since failing pregnant and I can't take any anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen again because of my kidneys! Never felt anything like this with my first! Thank you for the advice.

Definitely speak with your GP. Request a telephone consultation if they can't fit you in. Best of luck.
