My hands have gone blue & ghostly white?!

Having a regular day, away at relatives for Christmas. I was bathing my daughter a little while ago & noticed my fingers are deathly white & my nails totally blue! The palms of my hands are also really blue! Confused

They don’t feel remotely cold nor am I cold. I’ve been in a warm, toasty house all day. I wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t been specifically looking at them.. but I am now sat with them on a hot water bottle to see if it helps! I do have pins & needles starting .. so I assume my circulation is returning!

Anything to be concerned about do you think? My feet look normal thankfully! If they don’t go back to a normal colour, should I query with a medical person?

I’m 27+5 ..

Thank you!

I can't really offer any advice but I'm only 7+2 and I've had this two or three times now but only in my right hand! My hand goes really pale (bluish) then I get pins and needles in my middle finger which lasts a few minutes then it goes back to normal (not sure about nail colour as I've had gel polish on whenever it's happened).
I was planning to speak to the midwife about it at my upcoming booking in appointment.
As you're a lot further along than me and haven't had this previously, I'd definitely speak to a medical professional about it.

If you have pins and needles in your hands too it could be carpel tunnel?
Think it's quite common particularly if you pop a bit of weight on.

Sounds like raynauds. Not sure if it’s pregnancy related or not really. Do a little google x

It’s strange, I’ve never had anything like it before! A colleague has Raynaurds & her hands are always so blue, red & cold! It looks painful!

But my hands are warm, just blue Confused I’ve been getting loads of pins & needles this pregnancy but I did last time as well so I figure just normal.. maybe I’ll give the midwives a call tomorrow to double check it’s nothing to worry about, especially if they stay looking like a blue ghost!
