I’m 36+4. I woke up this morning with mildish period pains, seemed pretty constant and didn’t really feel any pattern to it, although I’ve been busily Christmas shopping all day then had a family get together this evening, now I’m home in bed the pains are still there, but my back also hurts, it radiates into my groin and back of my hips, it’s a full ache, not agony but noticeable.
I’ve just got up for a wee and the niggles are uncomfortable when I got up like the weight of my belly was making things worse. I’ve just turned over in bed and had quite dull achey period type pains very low down with some sharper period pains shooting through.

Could this be the beginning? Or is it just normal aches and pains? I’m due to have a c section as induced labour would probably stress baby out due to restricted growth problems. But they did mention that unless by chance I went into natural labour then they wouldn’t induce, hence the c section after Christmas... or tomorrow depending on the outcome of my growth scan.

Sounds like how my labour started but after losing my plug. The aches and period type pains started Wednesday and I eventually went into active labour Saturday night after my waters went. Good luck and happy Christmas!
