Hi ladies,

After 7 months of TTC, we finally got a bfp 2 days ago.
Based on my calculations, I was around 12-14 DPO and the line was very dark.
Today I tested again and the line is still there, only a bit lighter, which worries me. Could this mean things are not going well.
The only symptom I have is some mild cramping.
Here is a pic of the two tests, hoping to hear your thoughts.

I dont think so.
It might just be the time of day was differnet, the urine was a differnt concentrate all sorts of things.
Also cramping is normal as I understand.
Congratulations... a positive is a positive.
Don't test again!!!

@ FREEM thank you! I will try not to test again and I actually regret doing it :(
The time of the day was similar (afternoon both times) and it was the same brand.
Fingers crossed x

You could Of easily drank more/less both days so it can effect your urine etc. As pp said stop testing. Your pregnant. Enjoy it and cramping is normal aslong as not accompanied by heavy red bleeding.

It means nothing, I had the same worry and it can drive you mad. Don't yeah again as it could get even lighter but it just diluted urine. I would go to the docs and get it confirmed to put your mind at test. Oh and congratulations :-)

@Newbie1981 thank you. Did you also have fainter lines?

It's best to do it in the morning for a strong positive! When I got my BFP it was SO strong. Then I took it again a few hours later and it was much lighter. I also took tests a few times afterwards over the next couple of weeks and though they were strong nothing was as strong as that first positive I had. And I'll be 23 weeks on Tuesday!

Thank you all. I will try and resist - not easy, especially during Christmas time.

Also, not each individual test has the same amount of dye.

Stop testing. No test will tell you if it's a viable pregnancy or not. It's a waiting game, I'm afraid.

Congrats. Today, you are pregnant.

Hey OP, sorry I missed your reply. Yes with my DS I had previously had a MMC so was obsessed with doing test after test and they were getting lighter so I freaked out. But everything was fine x
