What does it mean to have a high cervix?

I'm 21+4 and have been told my cervix is very high (and rigid from scar tissue). They said this wasn't a problem - I just wanted to know if this is a good thing? It is also closed. I'm terrified of pre-term labour and can't find anything on Google about high cervixes apart from periods and ovulation...
