Brown spotting at 25 weeks

Hello there

I noticed when wiping brown discharge which was small in amount. Phoned my midwife and she advised me to contact her again if it occurs again, if i am bleeding, in pain etc. So just to monitor just now.
Anyone had this at 25 weeks or so? I had spotting and implantation bleeding early pregnancy.
Any advice appreciated.

If it is just a bit of brown on wiping it isn’t likely to be an issue. If it is bright red or you have pain you should be seen at the hospital. Often it is coming from the cervix which is pretty sensitive at this stage, but it needs an examination to check where it is from.
If there is bright red bleeding and it is uncertain where from your blood type is important. If you are rhesus negative you should then have anti-D unless you have had the test that tells you that your baby is also rhesus negative.

I am rhesus negative and getting the jab soon. I'm really run down at the moment as bad chest and sore throat. Just worried incase it maybe a show or something.

@Nanmumandmidwife a couple of tiny bits tonight but feel fine. Dunno what to do?

If it is still brown I wouldn’t worry.
