I can’t help but worry- is everything ok?
Been crying a lot this morning :(

I assume you are pregnant? It’s perfectly normal, please don’t get so stressed out. There’s a LONG way to go yet! Symptoms come & go. And they vary by person to person. I never had any cramps so early on. In fact, I’d have not known I was pregnant until week 6. Then bam, I get Hyperemesis & am sick for the rest of my pregnancies! Your symptoms will increase as your hormones do, it’s still very very early days.

Honestly, at this point there is nothing you can do but sit & wait & hope pregnancy is OK. No scan will show a baby yet. Baby is the size of a poppy seed. And even then, nature will do what it will do. Most pregnancies progress perfectly normally. Some don’t. All you can do is potter on with life. A doctor once told me that until 24 weeks, there is nothing medical science can do to save a baby if something goes wrong.. and it’s true. Up until then, we all just have to hope for the best.

I’m sure everything is fine, positive head on Smile

Hi OP,

I am almost 13 weeks now (12+5) and have had no cramps at all. I expected a few twinges or those often spoken about 'stretching pains' but I've had nothing!

Plenty of nausea, heartburn, trapped wind etc. though.

Every pregnancy is different and as PP said, symptoms can come and go. I had no symptoms at all until I was 6 weeks.

It's an anxious time, especially when it's your first as you don't know what to expect but you have to just try to relax and take each day as it comes as it really is out of your control at this stage.

Thank you for your reassurance Blush

It does make me feel better to read this. I am really trying hard to not get too anxious but sometimes can’t help it...

I booked an early scan for 6 weeks privately as nhs does offer it, so will see by then!
