Root ginger capsules in early pregnancy

I have been struggling with morning sickness and heard ginger can help, so I took a root ginger capsule then after further research it seems to say don’t take root ginger during pregnancy especially early stages.
Is this true, should I now be worried?

What further research is this? Did it say on the packaging? Sounds like the type of thing a pregnant woman would try and take to relieve morning sickness (although I never found anything with ginger helpful and felt ready to slap the 50th person who uttered the word ginger biscuit to me) so I would think it should say something on the packaging.

Some herbal teas will also contain additional liquorice root, that’s one to avoid.

Maybe I googled too much but a couple of sources said root ginger should be avoided and had vague links to miscarriage then had the usual consult your doctor before taking etc.
I can’t stomach the taste of ginger so the herbal tea route is a no go.
