I've decided, for no good reason other than I love a party, that I want a pre-baby party before DC1 arrives, but not a baby shower type party.

Since I live in a vicarage and have an unhealthy obsession with Agatha Christie, I finally decided on a Murder at the Vicarage party! Sorted the murder game, I will be doing afternoon tea with fizz or cocktails, and then this morning I thought it would be lovely, instead of presents, to have a donations box to a charity supporting - idk, mothers in need, or places where there is less access to services around pregnancy and birth, that kind of thing. I’ve had such amazing support from the NHS, genuinely the best support a woman could ask for, and I’m so grateful, and would love to find a cause where I can give something to help women who can’t access such wonderful medical support.

Can anyone suggest any good charities that provide this sort of thing? I know practically nothing and haven’t found google very effective, so would love some recommendations Smile

Sands / Tommys are good ones because the care after a stillbirth or late miscarriage still falls short in the NHS. They are also both at the forefront of research to prevent these.
