Ok so I know everyone jokes about the an out of times we visit toilet when pregnant however for the past 6/7 weeks I've been upto toilet about 4:5 times a night for a wee which I believe is normal, however these past few days I have been weeing so many times in the day! I littally wee then ten minutes later I need again! I know baby is pressing on my bladder as sometimes I feel like I'm going to wet myself , I had midwife Monday who tested wee so doubt it's a infection but is this normal??
I'm 35 weeks

I wee all the time, have done since second trimester and am close to my due date. If i walk for longer than two minutes I need a bloody wee. I also wake up 4 or 5 times a night. I feel like I never quite empty my bladder.

The day weeing definitely got worse after 34 weeks. If it’s not normal we can be not normal together. But from talking to other people it seems to be pretty common!

I've been peeing in the night for months. I feel like I need to go pretty much all the time. I'm 37 weeks and he's been bobbing about between engaged and not engaged and it makes it so much worse! I wake at least every 2 hours if not more so all night. I miss sleep.

35+3 here and I range between 4 times (on a very good day) to around 8 times a night. I only drink a mouthful of water when I need a drink in the hope that this might stop the absolute onslaught of urine gushing out of me night after night, but alas, it does not. At least it prepares you for no sleep!

From about 35 weeks I woke every hour for a wee (if I was lucky enough to sleep!)

Ah thank god not just me! It's 12 years since my last pregnancy so I forget!!
Although the night time weeing am not that worried about was the day time x

If baby is putting pressure on your bladder you may not be emptying your bladder fully when you do go for a wee so you need to go a lot more frequently

Montgomerystubercles · 13/11/2019 00:33

The MW accidentally threw away my sample at my 36 WO appointment so asked me if I could provide another one 10 minutes after the first-not a problem! Try standing up a little (just hovering over the loo) when you think you are finished, it can help you fully empty better.

GrumpyHoonMain · 13/11/2019 00:46

Are you constipated too? I often find myself able to wee better after a poo. Still need to go loads though.

ameliathomas84 · 13/11/2019 05:37

Nope I'm lucky I'm tht respect as on high dose on iron and not constipated x

This may sound strange but when you wee lean over till your hands are nearly touching the floor and you're not fully sitting on the toilet. I found this a better position to fully empty bladder!

MonsterKidz · 13/11/2019 05:47

As others have said totally normal.

When I was at this point with DS2 I had to go so many times during the day and I had DS1 who was only 2 as well that it i was an absolute bloody nightmare going up and down ever stairs to the bathroom!

Never had I wanted a downstairs loo more!!
