Hi after a recent internal examination the dr found something on my cervix she said she is pretty sure it is a few area of cervical ectropion and could see some spotty/lumpy bits. She said it is common in pregnancy but wanted to refer me for a colcoscopy after I had the baby to check as I have previously had a lletz procedure for abnormal cells. I have been worrying about

this since discovered. Anyway letter arrived quickly yesterday for a colcoscopy appointment when I will be 36weeks. Anyone else had this and know if you can even have a colcoscopy appointment whilst still pregnant?

That doesn't sound right to me. You need to call them and tell them you're pregnant. They might not realise in the colposcopy department and the referral may have some through faster than your dr was expecting.

I thought it would be odd to have when pregnant. I'll ring monday, they were closed by the time I tried tonight.

You need to ask them to reschedule for after baby is born.
If they think it is something that needs investigated urgently than that needs to be discussed with your obstetric and gynae consultants.

I was told they don't investigate while you're pregnant as pregnancy causes changes to the cervix anyway and they can't be sure if the two are related. I don't think a colposcopy at 36 weeks would be right though, probably an error.
