Elective C-Section in UK

Hi, I am an expat from Asia and there, I had a csection with my first child in 2015.

I am currently pregnant and planned to deliver my baby via c section once again. Can you give me an idea of what it's like here in UK? Would appreciate mummies who can share their CS experience. Thanks

I've had 2 elective c-sections here and 1 in Germany. All different experiences as far as the after care is concerned but the actual procedure was similar. I think it very much depends on the individual hospital and the reasons for having an elective caesarean but I think generally the care here is very good.
