I'm not sure if I need to do more or if waiting is ok.
I have GD, started on insulin this week as levels were staying too high and told to call first thing Friday morning if there was no change and to not put it off or wait any longer because it's urgent to speak to the diabetic team.
It's Friday morning and if anything my levels are creeping up. Tried to call and turns out I had been given the wrong number, finally got the right one and it's a voicemail that says leave your name and number and they'll call back but won't be same day.
I'm booked for an induction in 10 days time anyway due to GD and baby's size, what I don't know and no one seems to be able to tell me is are there any increased risks at this stage that my blood sugars aren't being controlled? Or rather do I need to push more to speak to someone? The only thing I can think of is to call the PAU at the hospital if this is something that needs addressing ASAP as they suggested.
Anyone had or has GD have any advice?
