I have been feeling really unwell for a few days. So nauseous, terrible heartburn. Pain at the top/centre of bump and occasional dizziness (like vertigo). I’m so fatigued and have terrible pressure/pain when I walk. I’m unsure whether to see GP out of hours, or wait until midwife appointment on Tuesday. Aware that it’s the final few weeks and I won’t feel great anyway but this nausea is so debilitating. I had awful vomiting on Wednesday night. Just unsure if I should get seen. Thanks in advance xx

I would be speaking to the midwives today, phone them ASAP and ask to be checked out.

Call your midwife / triage ASAP. They'll most likely want to have you in to be checked. I had a few similar symptoms a few weeks ago and they wanted to rule out preeclampsia

Thanks for you’re reply, I keep leaving it to see if I feel better ☹️

Call your midwife or the hospital. Best to get these things checked out and baby monitored xx

Please get checked. This could possibly be the start of pre-eclampsia which can be serious/dangerous. It likely is not, I don't want to scare you, but it's really not worth the risk. Please get seen as soon as you can, just in case, and make sure you tell them ALL the symptoms you are having (write a list before you go if you think you may forget something).

Go to them right now.
My sister had the same thing at 34 weeks - identical symptoms - it was the start of ore-eclampsia and she had an emergency c section only just in time. Even then child slightly damaged. GO NOW. Better to be safe.

@MumsyMum31 Good advice here. Have you gone to be checked now?

GreigLaidlawsbarofsoap · 03/11/2019 13:09
