What does implantation bleeding look like?

I am 12dpo I think (PCOS so can’t be sure) and had some mild cramping this week and yesterday and this morning I had a pinkish/white mucus when I wipe, negative test yesterday, hoping for a positive in a few days

I've had implantation bleeding in two out of three pregnancies. First time it was some brown spots on underwear and I thought period was coming. A few days later it had stopped so tested. Second time it was again a couple of days before AF due and this time was pink when wiping, with even a tiny clot. Lasted for a couple of days and was exactly like my pre-period spotting so was convinced I was out. 4 days later it stopped so tested.

Basically both times were different colors, but lasted 3-4 days and I was convinced period was coming. So you never know!

I didn't have implantation bleeding with my first but did with my second! It was about a week before AF was due. I went to the toilet and wiped and there was a smear of brown/red blood. I remember thinking "oh well no baby this month" then wiped again and nothing more. I also felt really rubbish and had bad cramps so just assumed it was my period coming early but then had no further bleeding after that and started thinking "hmmm that was weird!".
Done a test when I got home (as was on holiday) and I'm now 24 weeks

Well I found out I was pregnant with my first when I had a very dark patch of blood in my pants well before my period. I knew that was odd, tested and I was pregnant. I didn’t bleed again after that.

With DS2 I had blood mixed in with CM at various times in early pregnancy. The doctors/midwives tend to call that implantation bleeding.

I've had implantation with 3 of mine and just like you it was just a slightly pink creamy mucus. I got a positive test about a week later. good luck x

Thanks everyone think I’m out this time as it’s starting to look like beginning of my period very light bleeding now, will test next week if it only lasts a couple days!
