Needing reassurance

I'm almost 11 weeks pregnant. I had a scan at 8 weeks due to feeling some severe pain, which turned out to be a ruptured cyst. We saw the baby, the heart beat and everything was fine.

My symptoms have been constant food aversion and nausea, but I've only actually been sick twice. Extremely sore, heavy breasts and some light abdominal cramps. But all of a sudden, the past four days I've had no symptoms, as though they been switched off. Is this normal? Should I be worried?

I found symptoms stopped quite quickly around 9/10 weeks, everything was fine. Before that they would come and go quite a bit every day or two. I believe there is something about symptoms improving when placenta takes over at the end of first trimester.

I have read some people saying symptoms stopped and they had a miscarriage. I don't say this to worry you. If you saw a heartbeat at 8 weeks, odds of everything being fine are very good. But some people have had that experience. Its much more likely you've just got to the end of the horrible sick bit, which is good news! Do you have a 12 week scan soon?

Most likely you are just lucky and your body has stopped reacting to the changed hormone levels. It is very common for symptoms to disappear.
When is your first trimester scan booked for?

Thanks guys, honestly just having you guys say this reassures me. Sometimes you can feel like it's only you going through it! I have a scan a week on Friday. I'm hoping you guys are right and it's to do with the placenta.
