Hi All

Due date tomorrow and so excited to meet my little girl now. I feel so well I think I won't go into labour anytime soon....is this even a thing??

Obviously I know most babies don't arrive on their due date and with it being my first I'm likely to go late.... I just need patience Grin

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Good luck - how exciting for you. I still have 3 months to go, I am jealous!

Don't think too much about it. Eat some spicy food, sit on an exercise ball, go for a walk and have some sex. Those are the usual triggers! Grin

I felt like this with my first! she came 3 days early. Had no sypmtoms of imminent labour until boom 6am labour and then a baby at 3am!
with my second I was 10 days late and again, nothing all day until 7pm and the first contractions, sat and watched a film, but the oldest to bed, got a shower and then had her at 3am again!
Try to enjoy every last second being pregnant before the real fun starts ;)

Oooh fingers crossed for you!! How have you been feeling prior? With my 2nd I was in pain with cramps etc for weeks... due date was the same.. day after I woke up feeling refreshed and cramp free... roll on 5:30pm and it hit me like a ton if bricks baby was born 10:30pm that night it didn't half sneak up on me lol x

Good luck. Remember that a normal pregnancy is 37-42 weeks so you won't be late for a while yet and none of the old wives tales work. They do not trigger labour. Have sex and eat curry if you want but it won't produce a baby. Eat jaffa cakes and lie in bed if you want! Not long to go...

Thanks all!

@Turt those 3 months will fly by and then you'll be clock watching like me

@Echomama thanks! It's good to hear it can just come on, I'm ready to meet my baby

@Boymummy3 I've been so lucky and had the easiest pregnancy so far. Wow it so happened so quickly for you, I'm hoping for the same!

@ShowOfHands haha I defo like the sound of Jaffa cakes and laying in bed!

Good luck, the waiting is hard but use the time to relax, eat meals using both hands (rather than food that just requires a fork!) and potter about doing what you like 🙂

Turt · 30/10/2019 14:43

@NMCB how are you getting on?

NMCB · 30/10/2019 15:16

@Turt still nothing! This naughty little baby is obviously way to comfy!
