Hey ladies

Think I might have SPD or just some form of Pelvic Girdle Pain. Making it increasingly difficult to walk and commute to work in London but just wondered when/who you told?

I have my 25 week appt with the community midwife next week and not sure whether to wait to tell her next week or to make an appt with the GP sooner and speak to them?

I've got a warm hot water bottle on my back and pelvis whilst sitting at my desk, don't feel like me or baby are at risk of anything it's just uncomfortable and painful!

Thanks

The midwife will refer you to physio when you see her. I went to see my GP first, who said that it's quicker for the midwife to do the referral. That might be specific to my area though. Try keeping your legs together when getting in and out of bed/ the car / standing up from a chair etc. I had my physio appointment this week and the main take away was to do your pelvic floor exercises 3 times a day. Apparently that helps ! I hope you feel better soon. Don't walk around too much, but also don't stay completely idle.
