Anyone else really struggling? 33 weeks today and so bloody down all the time. I can't sleep, I've got SPD on top of my spinal arthritis, I'm uncomfortable 24/7, I'm not able to do anything fun anymore and I spend all of my time either at work, doing chores or sitting at home alone whilst DH is at work. Really wanted to enjoy the last weeks before baby arrives but I'm blooding hating it Sad

@mistermagpie if it makes you feel any better my 31 week scan said 5lb 10oz. Pray for me.

lovebeingmum9 · 14/10/2019 13:47

my first was 8lb 3oz, 2nd was 10lb 3oz,3rd was 8lb 6oz so 8/9lb is where I would expect this lil man to be......roll on 7 weeks 😁

lovebeingmum9 · 14/10/2019 13:51

Hi @smartcarnotsosmartdriver hope your keeping well....wow 5lb 10oz! growth scans can be inaccurate so will be interesting to see what our babies actually weigh and weather they were right or not lol Xx

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 14/10/2019 13:57

Hey @lovebeingmum9 same to you. I know but there's a niggle in my brain says they must be basing it on something... plus he feels a decent size in there. We have another scan on Friday so I'm interested to see how he's going. Less interested to be sent for probably my 3rd glucose tolerance test in 6 weeks.

mistermagpie · 14/10/2019 14:12

I never had a growth scan with my other two so this is the first time I've had any kind of estimate. This was at 32 weeks.

Chips4dinneragain · 14/10/2019 14:13

31 weeks and miserable here too, according to midwife my bump is measuring at the top end of the centiles and I have barely slept for about a week due to back pain. DC1 came at 40+6, really don't think I've got the psychological strength (or space in my uterus!) to go another 10 weeks, sob!

lovebeingmum9 · 14/10/2019 14:16

yeah i think you can feel yourself wether he's big,bet you can't wait for Friday! my next growth scan will be in 4wks time but I'm already booked for induction at 40wks so doubt that will change! oh no 3rd glucose test.....but hopefully the last! are you having consultations too?

smartcarnotsosmartdriver · 14/10/2019 14:27

Yup, plus he's getting really strong which I know is good but he's all over the place stretching, I don't think he has much space for actually kicking any more though.
I have an appointment with the consultant for the week after my scan as they wanted the results from that too.
My midwife said they would likely induce me at 40 weeks if not before so we'll see what they say. I know they do the tests for the right reasons but that doesn't mean I have to like them lol, they can only get blood from my hand and I always end up with matching bruises for like a week.

I was where you all are this time last year! Can I recommend swimming, if that's an option? I found it so liberating to be able to take the weight off my joints just for a bit and to be able to move more easily

mistermagpie · 14/10/2019 15:58

I absolutely hate swimming but I can see the appeal just now!

Does everyone know what they're having? I don't, I've got two boys already I I think this one is a girl but am going to have to wait and see.

Andersonx3 · 14/10/2019 16:38

Sounds awful but I'm so glad it's not just me feeling this way!! Hope you're all just about making it through Monday Brew

aw well you might be early and not need the induction @smartcarnotsosmartdriver but it's good to have it in place...I've gone 13days overdue with my 2nd and wasn't much fun and that's why he was big too.
I agree with the swimming I used to love going and felt so refreshed after but just havnt got/made the time this pregnancy.
We're having a boy 😊 already got 1 girl and 2 boys so we will be outnumbered but not outsmarted 🤣

I'm so glad I'm not the only one sleeping on the sofa some nights! I feel bad not sharing a bed with DP but it's the only place I can get comfortable now at 36+3. The huge pregnancy pillow is more of an hindrance than a help in bed but for some reason Is like sleeping on a cloud when I have it on the sofa! Wishing everyone struggling a decent nights sleep tonight!!

badfurday · 15/10/2019 19:48

I seriously don't know how some of you do it with more than one other child. I've a 5 year old who is great and understanding, but god if I had more than one during pregnancy I'd not cope!

Spoke to my manager today, am going to try and get some short days in and work from home which will be good.

I think the baby has engaged now ( or is it ok early?!) feels like If I sneeze she'll pop out 😳😄

Kudos to you all ladies, we are doing a great job, not long to go! 👍🏻
