Looking to go to the baby show in London next weekend. Has anyone been to one this year the other in London or at the nec? Did Many brands have good discounts? We know a few things we want and wondering if the discounts will be worth going for? 😁

I went to the Manchester one a couple of weeks ago. I got a snuzpod which was already discounted. But I got the ex display one they’d used during the show for over £100 cheaper than the RRP. I got a sleepyhead for £40 cheaper. I went on the last day so I think there can be some better deals then. They only had 10% off car seats and Iv seen mothercare do better offers

It's good if you have specific big ticket items you want to buy, as you can negotiate prices. There are also interesting companies/products that you may not have seen before.

I went to the birmingham one on the sunday. All the retailers were giving great discounts on the products they had used then as they didn't want to take them home. We got a car seat and pushchair. The car seat was meant to be 280 and got it for 200 and the pushchair was meant to be 220 and fot it for 160. They came with all the instructions just no boxes. It is well worth attending.

We went as we wanted to be able to compare all the prams on our list side by side which we did, and then got a good deal on the one we did order. Took quite a while for it to arrive which was OK as we went when I was about 6 months pregnant.

There seemed to be good deals on other stuff too but we hadn't started looking and working out what we wanted so didn't get anything else.

I went the Manchester one couple of weeks ago I saved £300 on my pram and carseat and got the isofix base for £75 instead of £150 and I got sleepy head and saved £40 and I got other things think in total I worked out I saved about £500 so definitely worth going on larger items like pram ect ypu put 50% deposit down and choose delivery date closer to time, I went shops first decided what prams I liked got prices and what was included and then went show and got a great deal at show with so much more included xx
