Hey ladies

Slipped down 2/3 carpeted stairs whilst getting ready for work this morning, landed on my bum and scraped my back but just wondered if others have experienced falls and then any complications or were actually just fine?

I'm 20 weeks and this is actually my second fall (first one up an escalator on the tube - massively embarrassing!!) and I was a blubbering mess on the phone to my husband this morning, I think just the shock of it. Abdomen is completely fine but am RhD -ve and can't stop worrying. I know they say to call the midwives if you aren't sure but I have felt him move since and no bleeding or anything, just aches and pains where I fell.

What are your experiences/thoughts?

I fell on holiday at about the same stage, tripped up a kerb went down like a ton of bricks, all was fine. I think you’re a bit more likely to fall as your centre of balance changes.
Do call your midwife if you’re worried tho.

Complete belly flop from me into a road (caught shoe on kerb as I stepped off) at 28 weeks - knees, bump, boobs, chin... Baby completely fine, pride severely bruised, left hand x-rayed and thankfully not broken (just strained). I'm not rhesus negative though - so would have probably gone for anti-D if I was. Midwife wasn't concerned as long as I hadn't broken my waters and didn't have and bleeding. I would ring your midwife to put your mind at rest.

I had to go in for an anti-d injection a few weeks ago, I didn't fall I was pushing my LO in the pram and hit a kerb and the handles hit me hard in the stomach, I still have a big bruise there,
One of the midwives said even if I have a bump or fall and don't bleed make sure to go in and get bloods done and monitoring just to be safe
