Is it normal for heartburn to start this late on? I haven't suffered throughout my pregnancy but today my chest and throat are both burning.

I don't think I have dropped yet as baby isn't engaged but is head down x

I'm 39w today and I've been suffering with heartburn for the last week. I haven't had it the rest of the pregnancy so I have been wondering the same. My baby has dropped and is fully engaged so I have no idea what's going on! Hopefully it eases for us both soon.

Heartburn was my first symptom before I tested in both pregnancies. And continues the whole time. It’s grim.

You’ve hopefully only got a couple weeks to go.. then it’ll be over! It’s probably just everything getting more & more squashed! In the meantime, bottles of gaviscon, rennies & you can also take Zantac if it’s really awful! Smile
