I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks back in August. I’ve been lucky enough to have fallen pregnant again straight away so I’m 5 weeks.

I just keep getting a feeling that something isn’t right.

I am getting symptoms but intermittently. I didn’t have any with my last pregnancy apart from a couple of days feeling sick and bloated.

I don’t know why and it’s gross but I’m just feeling “open” down there and my symptoms come and go I just keep feeling this pregnancy will end the same.

Any wise words? (Good or bad?)

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It's very hard being pregnant after a loss and I have worried myself silly and still am at 10 weeks. Would an early scan help? I've had 3 early scans which have calmed my nerves for a while. One at the epu when I had pain the same as my miscarriage, one to be discharged from the fertility clinic and one private one because I was worried about my sickness coming and going.
There are also a couple of threads on here which are very supportive for people in our situation - pregnancy after miscarriage and one called the penguin huddle.
I have been reminded that this is a completely different pregnancy to the last one and it's extremely unlikely that it will end in the same way xxx

Thanks @janey15 - i’m sorry to hear about your losses Flowers

Sadly I can’t get an early scan as I can’t afford it Sad I do need to go to the drs as I’ve been getting really bad cramping pain, similar to being in labour. Maybe they can put my mind at ease although I doubt they’d give me a scan.

They should offer you a scan for pain especially with your history. I had quite severe pain between 5 and 7 weeks but the scan showed all was fine. I'm sure you will be fine too but you need to see it to believe it!
In some areas you can self refer to the epu but you can ask your doctor. I would emphasise the pain you are in and the effect on your mental health of having to wait for a scan at 12 weeks.
Good luck xxx
