If you were overdue with DC1 was it the same with DC2?

Just wondering as I ended up being induced last time at 41+5! Was hoping this time might be earlier and natural!!

No. Ds1 was induced at 40+10, ds2 arrived in his edd.

No but I did have a sweep at 39 weeks which triggered labour so might have gone overdue again otherwise.

It was the same for me: both induced at 42 weeks

Both overdue. DC1 by 14 days 😟 Was induced.
DC2 by 10 days. Was booked in to be induced but went into labour the day before.

Second child was 6 days past due date.

Yes, 8 over, then 12 then 10. Some women just take longer to cook those babies.
My sister was 3 weeks early each time.

First one induced 14 days over. Second one induced 14 days over. Third one I asked if I could maybe be induced earlier if I was overdue again. I was induced at 10 days over but it took a few days of being induced so she was born 14 days over Hmm I guess I'm predictable!

I was also induced at 41+5 with my first.

My second I went into labour only 2 days after my due date. Had the baby at midnight so was 40+3.

#1 went into labour and had her at 40+6.
#2 went into labour at 40+5, had him at 40+6 also.

Unfortunately so!

No 1 was 42 weeks and I was induced.
No 2 was 42 weeks and I was induced.

I'm currently 38 weeks with No 3 who will be delivered by elective at 39 weeks. It feels like a very short pregnancy this time. 😂

No. DD2 arrived 2 days early.

DD1 - 40+5
DD2 - 40+14

I was not expecting to go 14 days over with DD2, it was the longest 2 weeks of my life!!

On the plus side I was in labour when I got to induction ward so I didn't have to be induced!

As a slightly different view - dc1 was early (38+1) so I was certain dc2 would be. Took maternity leave earlier just in case. Nope dc2 arrived at 40+4.

I know you’re looking for late baby stories but I just wanted to highlight the difference. Mine were over 2 weeks different. Iyswim so don’t worry.
