Early pregnancy symptoms

My first ever thread! I've had a look at a few forums and I know some people have experienced symptoms, I know "scientifically" it's supposedly impossible but just wondering if it's my mind and body playing tricks on me.

Had unprotected sex on Sunday whilst ovulating. Partner finished inside (sorry TMI). Monday & yesterday I had weird cramps below my belly button, like a dull ache. I also had ache in my left lower back, and have been feeling nauseous this morning, gone off certain foods I usually love, feel exhausted no matter how much I sleep and now have a sore throat and cold! Could this be EXTREMELY early signs of pregnancy or am I overthinking it? I can't take a test until next weekend at the earliest and it's driving me insane! My partner also has a minor Varicocele so not sure if it would be that easy to conceive anyway... anyone had similar so early on and ended up with a BFP?!

Thanks in advance Grin

You can’t get pregnancy symptoms so early sadly. The embryo doesn’t implant until 7 days post conception and only at that point would your body start to react hormone wise to give you possibly symptoms.

So say you did conceive Monday, you’d be looking until at least the weekend until your body could start to recognise pregnancy & give you symptoms. Even then, the hormones are very low until your missed period. That said, I got awful heartburn 3 days before my missed period in both my pregnancies and I never ever get it otherwise!

Hi, we decided to try for our second child. Its 4 days before I am due my period but I have bled a bit and have cramping. I'm normally like clockwork so never get my period early normally. I didn't have this first time, just a tiny bit of spotting??
