Hi all,

Any other petit ladies out there ? I’m currently 26 weeks pregnant and feeling extremely uncomfortable. I’m 5’2 so don’t have the biggest of torsos. Baby is already kicking under my ribs. My bump feels huge. 14 weeks left !!!! I don’t know how I’m going to cope. Im actually thinking to myself I can’t imagine myself getting to 40 weeks but you never know. I’m hoping for 37/38 weeks.

Anyone else ?
Xxxx

I'm 5'3" with a tiny torso and am 25 weeks and my flexibility has buggered off 😂. I now resemble an elephant seal when rolling over in bed, and bending is a struggle. Bring on December I say haha! Xx

I'm not petite but I'm 24 weeks and feel really uncomfortable 😣

Fuiseog · 08/09/2019 18:50

Are you me?! 😂 Same height and timeline and I am also struggling. Feel very big, am noticing less flexibility every week (never knew it would be hard to put tights on!) and my back is so sore so often. I can imagine getting somewhat bigger and less mobile... but not continuing to do so for 15 weeks! I feel like the difference in my size and mobility that's happened in the last month can't possibly continue at the same rate for the next few months... Doesn't feel like it could be humanely possible.

yes I'm 5ft and 28wks pregnant and feeling very much like a weeble! 🤣 this is my 4th pregnancy so got 3 young children to run (wobble) around for and school runs etc...bump is measuring 2 wks ahead currently as well! but very active baby inside.

I'm 4' 11", 23 weeks and getting pretty uncomfortable! Also hoping to go at about 38 weeks.

bessie84 · 09/09/2019 09:19

5ft 11 and only 20 weeks and sooooooooooo uncomfy.

bessie84 · 09/09/2019 09:20

im not 5ft 11. im 5ft 7 - i wish i was 5ft 11. ffs. whats up with me :-)

It's horrible. I'm 5'3'' and had two massive babies, both delivered at 39+4. If it makes you feel any better, they do usually 'drop' down in the last few weeks, giving you a bit more breathing space, and they don't kick so much as wriggle. Don't forget, Gaviscon is safe in pregnancy!

mehmehmehmeh · 09/09/2019 12:31

I'm 22 weeks and petite. I'm very uncomfortable. I can no longer see my vajay. Sleeping is uncomfortable, my legs hurt all the time. I don't know how it's going to be possible to get bigger.

KatieMurr · 10/09/2019 14:55

I totally know how you feel, I am also 5'2 with a small frame and I am so uncomfortable too. I'm 26 weeks and my feet and back are sore and I am getting carpel tunnel in my hands so feel quite sore most days too. Went to Ikea last week and had to sit down a few times around the show room as I was so exhausted

OnlyLittleMissOrganised · 10/09/2019 14:59

I'm 4ft9 and 31 weeks. Started feeling really big this week and when baby moves and rolls it's so uncomfortable!

mamasiz · 08/05/2020 21:31

I know this thread is old but I was relieved to find it! I’m 25 weeks pg with my second and can’t remember if I felt this uncomfortable around this time with my first. I’m only 5’ 2” and feel massive and very inflexible now! I delivered at 38+3 last time so hoping for the same this time around.

2020Aug · 09/05/2020 03:36

I'm 5ft 4, petite with a short torso, just over 26 weeks and also getting kicks in the ribs and feeling quite out of breath. Not sleeping very well (why I'm replying ar this time)! Hoping the next 14 weeks go quickly!

Rosebudx · 09/05/2020 08:30

Me! Also relieved to see this old thread reappear!

I’m 5’1 and have a small narrow frame so I’ve also been getting booted in the ribs for the last week or so! (I’m 26 weeks now)

I feel like an old lady when I move which is a bit depressing as I’m usually quite fit and well but this pregnancy has destroyed my body already 😂

MichelleOR84 · 09/05/2020 09:34

I really started to feel uncomfortable around that time too and I also had the same worries as you .

I found that it got better again and then it got uncomfortable and then it got better . I don’t know if it was my body adjusting or the positioning of baby .

At around 36 weeks I thought there was NO WAY I was going to last until 40 weeks . Well I was right and at 37+1 I went into labour .
