I’m assuming all general urine, bp, hb etc but will it be this appointment that they start measuring my tummy? Do they do anything else? Thank you xx

Hi, I saw my midwife at around 28 weeks not 25 but I assume it's the same appointment. I was given my form to be sent for bloods and the usual observations were done. Urine, blood pressure and baby felt/heartbeat heard and tummy measured.
Also if you haven't already you can get your matb1 form if required. Also it was this appointment I was encouraged to book a flu jab and whooping cough immunisation which I had this week at 33/34 weeks x

Well it’s interesting as from what I’ve found the 25 weeks one says first pregnancy only when I saw a typical schedule of appointments. This however is my third pregnancy! Maybe my unit just does it anyway? How odd. X

Ah ok, first I've heard of a 25 week appointment, first baby or not. I know it can be different depending on where you live though.
May as well get the observations though if they've given you the appointment. They may not measure you until a bit further gone then maybe xx

That’s what I thought I’d as as I don’t have a bump as such to even measure 😂 currently 22+3! But yes she just takes my book and writes it in so just assumed that’s right! They are the experts! I’ve an 11yr age gap between youngest and this baby so it feels like first time pregnancy as it’s changed a lot! X

My area has 25 week for first pregnancy (also if you need extra care loft high risk in later ones) it was just urine no and a chat for me. Also mat1b

Thank you @Mintypea5 x

I was 25 weeks yesterday! Tbh I have had nothing but problems! Or so it seems 😂😂 currently just got out of hospital for suspected prom, and have spd/pgp so am currently signed off work with tht, and I had obstetric Cholestasis with my other two (16,11) so am awaiting it with this one 😭 have started itching really bad just waiting for my bloods to tally!
I should be on extra surveillance however my mw app isn't till 29 weeks! Seems strange to me as last tome I just had my midwifes number where as this tome it's all through a contact centre lol
How about you xx

@dollytutu wow! Sounds like you have had it bad. I’m just suffering constipation, heartburn and last couple nights have a awful dull kind of back ache. Im on meds for constipation and heartburn. I might mention the back ache at my appointment. I’m 22+3. My girls are 14 and 11!

@Missmonkeypenny that’s good to know! My notes doesn’t have that. Thanks for sharing x
