Hello!
I've heard Raspberry Lead tea can help speed up going into labour and the birth itself.
Has anyone had experience of this?
Also I'm 37 weeks, is it too late anyway for it to have any effect? Thanks!

@thecraicdealer Blush yes I inserted one inside, but I also read you can just take them orally. That same night my contractions started!

I used it with ds2 from about 36 weeks.

DS1 - labour - 18 hours
DS2 - 2 weeks early, labour just 2.3 hours.

Don't know for definite if it was the raspberry leaf tea but I did like the flavour anyway.

i hammered it, and evening primrose oil in the latter weeks. obviously there is no science to this but my first was a week early and out in 12 hours with only a modest episiotomy!

my second is due Jan 6 so I will not be touching it this time round!!!!

I took tablets with both of mine from a few weeks before my due date. Never made any difference to my labour but both times afterwards the midwives that visited after birth commented how quickly my uterus contracted back after and asked if I'd taken anything so maybe something there?
