Stringy vaginal discharge warning pic included

Hi so I'm 23 weeks tomorrow and today after a orgasm I got this very stringy discharge it smelt a bit weird too I rang the hospital and they said not to worry unless it turns red but I've Googled and now I'm worried it's mucus plug I've had a bit more this evening its very stringy it's not normal discharge at all. Anyone have any idea

I often got this after having sex when I was pregnant. It was probably a bit more pinky/brown in colour but pretty similar (stringy).

I checked with my midwife who said the same, to get it checked if it becomes red. She said sometimes it can just be left over tissue from before you were pregnant.

I'm assuming you're still feeling normal movements etc? May be worth keeping a close eye on them if you are worried.

Maybe book in with your midwife and show her the picture? It will put your mind at ease, it did for me

Midwife also said it could be a sign of infection e.g yeast infection and she checked urine at every appointment. It always came back with a reading of a water infection but I never got the typical symptoms.
