I hate how I still worry so much!

So I’m 18 weeks tomorrow with my third child. I have had no symptoms and I’m not showing. I suffer heartburn but did my other 2 pregnancies.
A friend popped in today for a coffee and she said blimey you can’t tell your expecting at all. You should be by now on your third.

It just makes me worry! I’m 12-14 pre pregnancy and I’ve always had a tubby jelly belly! So I’ve got plenty of padding!!

I just can’t wait to feel so movement or something! My scan isn’t until 23rd aug and it feels like an eternity! I just hope everything is ok! I had a private gender scan at 17 weeks and everything was fine last week but it just makes me panic! Xx

Hey OP! We must be due around the same time! I'm 18+3, 2nd baby. I suffered 2 horrific miscarriages before a successful but again awful pregnancy with my daughter. I too can't stop worrying.
I also have an anterior placenta, and hate the fact I can't actually feel anything yet! With my DD I started feeling her move around 15 weeks and by 18 weeks was a regular pattern.
I'm part of a new trial called a pregnancy circle, meaning my midwife appointments are in a group of women all due within 4 weeks of each other. They don't offer to check the baby's heartbeat at any of the appointments. I was gutted I didn't have abit of reassurance at my 16 week check! I'm going out of my mind with worry I suffer bad anxiety anyway and this just makes it 100x worse. I have no bump and just feel like I'm waiting for the worst! I keep looking into a private scan but I can't bare the thought of paying to receive bad news!

My next NHS scan is 22nd Aug - seems forever away!

I'm due 4th Jan but having an Elective C-section @ 39 weeks! Xx

I’ll be having a section as well! Unsure when though as 39 weeks for me is New Year’s Day! Mw said it’s highly unlikely it will be then! I think about the 2nd! I have a consultant appointment 19th aug and then scan 23rd!

Sorry to hear about your miscarriages. I suffered 2 before I had my girls and it was the worse time ever. Xx
