So to give you a bit of background I'm currently 11 weeks pregnant with my first. I have been suffering with bad morning sickness (I'm overweight) and I lost over a stone during the 2 worst weeks. I was given 2 types of medication from my GP and I am now feeling a lot less sick. I am now constantly tired, just sleeping all the time. I even have to lay down after a shower as in exhausted. My sick note ends today, and I'm dreading going back to work.
I explained to DH how I feel, but he doesn't seem to get it, my mental health has taken a bit of a hit now too. Its not that I dont want to go back to work, I love my job, i just dont think my body can do it.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I felt exactly as you do. Have you had your first scan yet?

Go back to your GP and get the sick note extended. A friend was so disabled by HG in both pregnancies she pretty much has the whole 9 months off sick. If you are ill, you are ill there is no need to struggle in. Thanks
