Cruel evaporation lines

How awful are evap lines 😭 I'm 9dpo so I know it's early but done a first response and the kids were knocking on the door so I put it away forgot about it and went back to it and there was a line but pretty sure it's an evap. It's barely there so hopefully can see

A line is a line! Pregnancy tests very very rarely give out evap lines, so my doctor told me anyway. He said in all his years being a doctor he has never got an evap line & home tests are better quality & stronger than their tests!

Thanks starflake but I had one last month using FRER was a pretty clear line but AF showed 3 days later xxx

Well it's not to do with the evap line is it? It's the fact you left it over the allowable time frame.
Id just buy another..

What I'm saying is they're cruel because they lead you to believe it's a BFP when probably an evap line ❤️ going to do another in the morning xx

They are just an inevitable part of the tests.. it’s how their designed. The line/dye is already there, the hormones in your wee just activate them when you are pregnant. Unfortunately when they dry, the line often shows up.

9 days is really early. You are setting yourself up for days of squinting & worry & frustration. Test after 12dpo and you’ll get your answer one way or another. Testing early won’t help make it positive sadly.

@mummyofsoontobe3 I had 3 chemicals in 3 consecutive months which is what led to the doctors remark about evaps, I asked if they were evaps & that was his reply. Maybe cause your testing early it's showing positive as you are pregnant but then it doesn't implant properly so AF arrives.

@starflake I feel awful for wanting to be pregnant so desparately (sp) as I already have 3 beautiful children but if I don't fall this month will have to wait until October to try as have a holiday booked for May xxx

If you have a line and then get your period, it's a chemical, not an evap.

I've never had anything other than stark white unless I've been pregnant. Tiny amounts of HCG just take longer to dry into vvfl.
