Hi everyone,

I am 30 weeks tomorrow and today and yesterday have been experiencing a thick jelly like discharge.

This also happened when I was 28+1 just once and I did a post about it on here.

Now it's happened a few more times it's worrying me more.. do you think this is something to worry about, could it be my plug?

It doesn't have any red or pink or brown stain to it. Just white/yellow. I have attached a picture thanks x

I'm a first time mum and probably not much help but I've been getting this, I'm 30 weeks too... I've been getting this followed by fluid like discharge and I thought it was normal Confused

Sorry I couldn't be much help, I'm gonna keep a look out for other replies as I had no idea that would be what the plug looked like

@melissa1215 I've had bigger than this but I'm worried it could be a small part of it! Just hoping someone can tell us this is half normal lol x

I’m 38 weeks today and had episodes like this weeeeeeeeeeks ago (can’t remember when exactly) and I’m still going! I think it is the plug but when it happens early apparently it can grow back so is nothing to worry about 🤷🏼‍♀️ I also read that it is called a ‘show’ when it is blood tinged and mine wasn’t! Mine was just jelly like yours!
Hopefully it’s nothing to concern yourself with but speak to your mw if you are worried x

Ring your MW

I had this thought it was my plug. Was thrush.

Didn’t have any itching, it can present differently in pregnancy due to hormones and lots of fluid down there.

Get your MW to do a swab

Mucus plug? Seems a bit early though, I would phone midwife.
