Hi, first time posting here, just wondered if anyone could put my mind at ease. Had my fundal height measured at 23 weeks which was 22cm. Was measured again today and I am still measuring 22cms at 27+4. I have a growth scan on Friday, but obviously I'm a little concerned that there has been no change in 4 weeks. I also never feel movement above my belly button, always just below, although she is VERY active at regular intervals throughout the day. I am average height I think, about 5'6 so not got a longer than usual torso or anything like that.

I had this between 28-32 weeks, I actually decreased in size! So was sent for growth scan.
They estimated he'd be about 6-7lbs, and were happy with size on scan.
He was actually 9lbs!
Its more likely the way your carrying has changed in the last couple of weeks.
Pregnant again and have been told I'm measuring big, they estimate 10lbs and have booked growth scan, I'm taking it with a pinch of salt and they were far from accurate last time!
I've known lots and lots of people get refer based on fundal measurement,,,,and not one have an issue with growth.
Quite normal to not get movement high up, as her bum with be (hopefully) in that regions, so curled up arms and legs will be moving lower down

I’m 26+4 weeks and measuring 34cm so way above where I should be.
I’ve got a growth scan and gtt test on Monday. I’m not that worried mum was huge like me and didn’t get GD. I think there measurements can vary greatly.

I was being told to eat more, anything because I didn't gain size or weight. All was fine

Those measurements are notoriously inaccurate in my experience, you're lying down (usually) and the baby can by lying in a different way. I was measuring small in my last pregnancy and at the scan was told I'd actually be in for a huge baby. He was born at 7lb 7 - so neither small nor big!

Try not to worry, I know it's hard.

Hi this sounds similar To my situation I was always measuring about 5-6cm below the 'average' and had growth scans every two weeks. I was induced at 37 weeks as baby was measuring consistently below the10th centile. She was 5lb 3oz and Perfect in every way.
With regards to movements above the belly button mine only happened within the last 4 weeks or so of my pregnancy. My belly went down immediately after delivery and my Uterus contracted back straight away so it's not all bad news lol.
Baby is now 11 days old!

Thank you all, and qj17 congratulations! I've decided to stop worrying myself over it and wait for my scan tomorrow. Her kicks are nice and strong and she is starting to show a pattern now, so I'm pretty positive that she is fine in there 😊 I think I'm just more worried about her running out of room.
