Am I pregnant?

Me and my partner have been trying for our first baby, I'm not due for my period for 7 days but yesterday and the day before I had a very light bleed but amongst the blood was like little bits of thick brown stuff (So sorry for the TMI😳). I've never ever had spotting before. I know it's too early to test at the moment but I'm getting so impatient, I had a cheap Superdrug test in the house so just decided to take it. It came back negative which I'm trying not to get disheartened about. Does this sound like implantation bleeding? Thanks for reading 😬

@najs89 I got my first BFP by accident at 7 DPO, you won't know thought until you test ☺️ give it a couple more days x

I would love to say it definitely is that but I had brown spotting on several cycles when ttc which I never had before trying and it really got my hopes up but turned out to be nothing. The 4 times I have been pregnant there hasn’t been any spotting at all. That’s not to say your not pregnant as obviously implantation spotting exists but I wouldn’t take it as a sure sign.

Similar to HJWT if you are pregnant you may well get a faint positive in the next couple of days as I’ve had one at 8 dpo and the other 3 pregnancies at 9dpo (2 successful, 2 miscarriages)
