Nearly 37 week with an enormous baby who will be delivered by c section at 39 weeks. I’m a SAHM to a 3 year who goes to nursery two days a week. 3 year old has become very clingy due to baby. I have pregnancy insomnia and there is loads left to do before baby arrives. Also had lots of extra hospital appointments. Last night I was awake for a good 4 hours, 2 of which were with DD who just wanted me. I have the usual late pregnancy PGP, swelling and general aches and pains.

Please someone tell me to feel better.

I'm in a similar place although this is my first.
I'm 37 weeks being induced this Friday was admitted on thurs with high blood pressure, swollen ankles and hands they let me out Friday with medication.

Have appt on Tuesday then induction Friday.
I'm knackered and on top of all that last Monday I found out I have geststational diabetes so Iv had enough and just want the baby to arrive.

Very tearful! I have been told baby is 7ib and huge, I have no idea whether to believe them or not!?

Hope you feel better :) xxx

You poor thing. At 37 weeks the average baby is 6lb 3oz so your little one isn’t that big! The scans can also be wrong by 15% either side. Don’t let them scare you with that. Have you had 3 separate growth scans?

I had a diabetes test a few weeks ago and it was negative another dr suggested checking it again but the consultant said by 36 weeks a pregnant women glucose levels are all over the place and there was no point testing it I was already considering induction at 38 weeks or ELCS at 39.

Good luck. Your baby will be in your arms by this time next week.

Iv has growth scans regularly because I just reached 40 and my BMI isn't great.

We both are almost there ... it's just so tough these final weeks Sad
