Constant anxiety over feeling movement/kicks?

I’m sure a lot of women can relate to this so any advice or reassurance would be much appreciate ❤️

I’m 27 weeks today with my first baby & i’m Constantly worrying about movements and what’s normal and what isn’t! A week or so ago I did pop in for a check in and all was fine so I’m totally aware that I can do that whenever I’m worried. Some mornings I wake up and feel him kicking, others not so much. Sometimes I can go 3-4 hours without a thing but then he might be active in the afternoon mostly or evenings but again on quiet days it’s not the same. It’s driving me a bit potty! I definitely would not say there’s a ‘routine’ yet as some people advise.

❤️

@Babycakes1989- can’t really comment on the kicks but can empathise with the anxiety. Mine has been through the roof and I’m 15 weeks, it’s my first so don’t know what’s normal and what’s not.
Had a trip to hospital yesterday as I thought I was leaking fluids but just happens to be a weak bladder. I’m sure that will be the first of many trips over the coming months.
I’ve come to the conclusion Pregnancy = worrying!
I would say contact your midwife when possible just for some reassurance as they are truly the best people to speak to. And don’t worry about how many times or what you contact them about. They’re used to it
especially from first time Mamas xx
