Sub Chorionic bleed?? Anyone else? Worried!

Well I’m currently 6wks+3days pregnant after a frozen IVF transfer and have been spotting on/off small amounts of brown blood for the last week or so and on Monday morning I found I was bleeding red blood, I rang the fertility clinic who referred me straight to EPAS and they fitted me in for a scan that day. I was adamant I was miscarrying but nope, on the ultrasound one perfect little bean measuring 3mm with a good strong heartbeat. Although the bad news..during the scan the ultrasound technician found an area suggestive of bleeding below the gestation sac, on my notes it’s says sub chorionic bleed and after googling I’ve made myself worry even more. The technician did say often these get re-absorbed back into the body however it does increase your chance of miscarriage.Sad

Has anyone had this and gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? This baby is so wanted and loved already! I just need to hear from other women who have been through this. I’m going out of my mind with worry, I’ve had spotting very lightly of just brown colour since Monday so I’m hoping the bleeding is tapering off now. I have another scan booked in 2 weeks time when I’ll be 8 weeks + 3 days to check how baby is doing.

I had sub chronic bleed with ds1 at 8 weeks and again at 13 weeks! He is now 4 and I carried him to term.

Well I had my scan this morning and thankfully it’s great news. Baby is measuring 16mm and right on dates at 8wks+2days. And the sonographer could find no evidence of anymore bleeding, and she thinks it was perhaps late implantation bleeding? Who knows, I’m just so happy my baby is all ok. Grin
