Hi

I’m 31 weeks pregnant with my first DC.

I have woke up today and just feel awful in every way. My nausea is relentless, I’m having kind of slight cramping feelings all up the sides of my stomach, belly feels like I brick, back is so sore, banging headache and a mountain of pressure in my pelvis/pubic bone area.

Is this normal and I’m just being a bit wimpy today? Confused

I haven’t slept for a few days and think that may be making me feel like I can’t put up with it all any longer, plus my bump dropped quite a bit over the weekend so I don’t know if that is making me feel like something is going on in the back of my mind. Pregnancy has been healthy really with no problems, baby is growing on the larger side Hmm but not so large that we should worry. (DP was 11lb!)

Any advice please?

Hi!
I'm 33 weeks and had exactly the same thing yesterday. I just didn't feel good. Back pain, nauseous, a bit dizzy and short of breath and some stomach pain. This is baby number 2 and my first labour was almost exclusively back pain, so I went to bed a bit apprehensive! But today I feel absolutely fine! I suppose we get good and bad days, particularly in the third trimester... try to look after yourself and jeep hydrated!
That being said, the advice is to always seek help or advice if you're unsure, so don't feel bad about contacting a doctor or midwife if you want to. Do you have normal baby movement?

The headache isn't a good sign. Maybe call your midwife for advice

Thinking blood pressure / pre eclampsia
Or you may just be dehydrated

It’s so hard to tell in the 3rd because it is mainly just feeling rubbish isn’t it?

Baby movement has been normal today and I would be surprised if I am dehydrated, I drink water by the bucket load!

My DP is due home from work soon so may wait until he is in and then give the midwife a ring, just feel bad contacting her later in the day.

I had that at 31+5, gave birth the next day. Probably won't happen for you but I'd give the midwives a ring a get checked out regardless.

I’m 32weeks tomorrow and I’ve been feeling the exact same for past week (some days worse than others) I had an appointment with the nurse last Tuesday (I am already monitored weekly due to chronic high bp pre pregnancy, and it’s shared care between mw & gp surgery) anyway the nurse could find nothing wrong except yes I was dehydrated and my bp had actually dropped! Said probably nothing to worry about but to phone mw if things got worse! Haven’t as yet as seeing mw tmrw anyway and I just think I generally feel rubbish!
