Hi ladies ...
Sorry in advance for the long post but I am driving myself INSANE!
Ovulated 9 days ago and did the deed then and around that day.
Bought a pack of preg tests yesterday (cheap pound shop ones) ready to test next week then read a thread online that said it is possible to get a positive only 7 DPO (days post ovulation) so stupidly I took a test last night and to my shock it was a faint but definite POSITIVE!!!! Told husband who was over the moon and we worked out dates and everything got really carried away with ourselves like you do. Then just before bed (like 4 hours after the positive test) I took another and it was negative 👎 took 6 yes 6 more today and all negative!!!! I am driving myself crazy been reading all kinds of posts from other ladies in similar situations and read all sorts from chemical pregnancies to testing too early! It’s only our 1st month TTC (trying to conceive) so I wasn’t expecting it to happen yet but seeing that positive obviously I was so so happy and now just feel like it’s been taken away from me ... I know in my heart of hearts I tested way too early (not due on for another 7 days)
Anyway hoping someone has been through similar or can tell me to get a grip of myself and stop buying tests until I miss my period haha xxx

I’m sorry you are going through this. But 1 in 4 pregnancies end, many before people realise they just think their period is late. This is why I think these early response tests aren’t the best idea. Lots of people get positives only then to have a negative, but it doesn’t mean that the next one won’t be a sticky bean! Plus you are still in the running! You could just be testing too early. Fingers crossed for you!

@SnowyAlpsandPeaks
Thank you for your reply! I’m feeling much better today hardly given it a second thought which is a nice relief as I was like a woman on a mission yesterday so I think waiting until next week won’t be so bad and what will be will be! Xxx
