Hi all, just wondering what peoples opinions are on the best pregnancy pillows there are ? I am looking for something to keep me on my side as i keep rolling onto my back. Also though, something that may help pains in my lower back and hip ? Any advice would be great please 😘

I can't rate it, but the one I'm looking to get is the one from Aldi - mainly because its only 15 pounds :)

I got a full body one from amazon called sleep dove big u pillow. At first I found it hard to adjust but I wouldn’t be without it now. It does take up a bit of space in the bed but has stopped me rolling and supports my growing bump really well.

I find the full body pillows quite tricky but bought a cheap wedge pillow from Mothercare and that's perfect for tucking under the bump.

I got like a body length pillow from argos for about a tenner which was perfect.

I have this one from mothercare. I like the fact it split into 3 separate cushions. It's helped me also to not roll on my back 😊

www.amazon.co.uk/QUEEN-ROSE-Pregnancy-Maternity-Replaceable/dp/B06XKYCHD1/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?psc=1&s=gateway&keywords=pregnancy+pillow&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1560134328&sr=8-1-spons

I got this one on Amazon (well our overseas version, and it was significantly cheaper, but it looks identical so I think it was this one). I really love sleeping with it, it's quite firm so it's very supportive for my back/hips. I'm a side sleeper anyway but I think the firmness would also help with stopping you turning onto your back.

I've only been using it a few days so not sure how well it'll hold up in the long run but I'm loving it for now.

I don't know why my link looks weird! It's just a link to an amazon page for this pillow

I got mine from Aldi. It’s a bit like the Mothercare one above and whilst it does the job I wish I’d spent a bit more and got one of those full body ones.

Thanks so much, i didnt realise Aldi did them so will have a look 😁 has anyone tried the dreamgenii one ? It has €20 of it at the min so was tempted with that one ?

Another vote for the Queen Rose - I love mine

ImMeantToBeWorking · 10/06/2019 09:48

@BabanOnTheWay I was looking at the dreamgenii one too, it seems to be sold out on Mothercare.ie though and back up to €60! I have only just found out I am pregnant but I would have bought one of these for before I was pregnant if it didn't seem weird. lol

BabanOnTheWay · 10/06/2019 10:47

@ImMeantToBeWorking i just checked mothercare now and it seems to be in stock for 39.99 but only in white 😁.
I will have a look at the Queen Rose. Thanks ladies 😘

I've got the DreamGenii and I couldn't be without it now, stops me from rolling over and supports my legs really well. Also still get to use my normal pillow which is a bonus!
