Toddler with chicken pox !!!

So I've just found out my 4 year old has chicken pox !!!!
Should I be okay?? I'm only 6 weeks pregnant and I have never had it before !?

If you’ve not had it before speak to your midwife or gp if you don’t have a midwife yet. It can have some effects in Mother’s under 20 weeks if they’ve never had it but they can test your blood to see if you’re immune

Read the NHS guidance. Tell your mw but if you do get it you are only considered at risk for complications under specific conditions. As you’re really early on in your pregnancy there is no risk to your baby at all.

My dd got chickenpox couple months bsck. Had to have blood test as dps could be sure if id had it or not. Results showed i had antibodies but lower than most people so was given the tablets to be safe. Ds then got them 2 weeks after. Didnt need tablets and no problems.
