Round ligament pain - HOLY HELL!!!

Been suffering with horrible right sided round ligament pain this afternoon and it's been so sharp and intense that it actually takes my breath away and makes me shout out and moan in pain!
Only lasts a few minutes at a time but blimey it's been intense.

The thing is I'm worried I won't be able to cope with labour if this is how I am with RLP! And usually I'd consider myself to have a high pain tolerance

Does anyone else here get it bad?

Me! It makes me shout out which I'd usually never do! It's different to labour pain though

I had this really bad at 20 weeks. Was crawling up the stairs. Labour is a different pain completely.

Me!! Totally know what you mean about it making you worry about coping with labour- I’ve been wondering the same but telling myself at least I will know there is an end to labour pain whereas I’m worried I’ll have this ligament pain for another 15 weeks!!! Make sure you move slowly- I’ve found holding my belly tight when I turn or cough helps a bit too. And deep breathing through it! Hope it eases off for you soon
