Well that's happening, i feel very thankful as the council has offered us a good home.My other half and i work but due to financial troubles that were not our fault have struggled to get on our feet so this is a blessing.

We were given a move in date great, very close to my due date o ok then. Then we were given a induction date two days later than that due to health reasons.

I feel like god or some higher being is having a laugh i was so worried about not being able to get ready for this baby due to the uncertainty of when we will move and now i got my wish and then some lol.

I feel happy yet panicked we have family to help but oml the house looks like its not been lived in in years.what would you do in my shoes =p

I am sure a week or two delay it wouldn’t matter to the council if you explained the situation? Or who knows - they may able to even bring it forward a week or two? Just speak to them and hopefully they can help! If not, you have people around to help: that’s the most important thing. I know it’s not ideal but obviously your health and babies health comes first so just you focus on you both and let everyone else sort everything else around you xxx

thank you the council would be fine for us to stay another week but that would mean paying more rent on old property as well as paying a months rent on new place.

We can afford the first week of June giving us a week to move in but any more would mean taking away from savings that we need for things like flooring.

I am lucky i have my other half and we have family, my other said the only thing i should be worrying about is looking after our baby. That he will rally family and get it sorted.

Its hard but i know and understand nothing good comes from no work anything good in life takes hard work and effort.I am both happy and nervous though lol

I had to move from privately rented to council. The place was disgusting and we managed to decorate get flooring and move in a week. I know money might be tight but pay for a removal company to do most of it. Or if you and baby could stay at parents or friends while removal happening.

i wish we could afford removal company but again we have to keep this cheap so its my other halfs family's van and friends/family to help.Yes council property's tend to be dirty and unkempt when you first move in.When we looked it looked like it had not seen life in years but with time and effort it can be made into a good home.

Thankfully we have had family offer for me to stay if needed wile the house is being sorted
