Middle Name for...........

Ive got a way to go yet (21+4) but we have our hearts set on Emma if its a girl.

Only snag, we cant find a suitable middle name!

DD's are Jessica Helen and Rebecca Alison

Last name is McCafferty

HELP!

Helen and Alison are both family names, Rose has a family connection but there are no other female names in the family we can use as we have both vetoed Margaret!

Our families are full of Helens, Alisons and Margarets! Oh and Agnes of course, but that again has been vetoed!

i like emma louise, ds would have been emma louise if he'd been a dd

I like being called Emma too emma . Would also have used it for one of my dd's had I not been named it myself.

I can agree on Margaret and Agnes, When you chose the name Emma(which is fab BTW) did you have any other ideas that you liked? maybe you could use one of those?

Nope.... it was Emma or Emma! Katie popped up briefly, but we dont like it!!!

DH really likes Emma Charlotte Rose, im loving it too - just a little worried about the girls thinking DC3 will be more special!

Let them choose a middle name for themselves ( obviously not going as far as changing thier names by deed poll of course!)- they will think its fun!

I wouldn't worry about it, I love Emma Charlotte Rose I think it's lovely, just explain to DD1&2 that she isn't anymore special than they are it 's just you couldn't decide which name of the 2 middle names you liked better!

I'm Emma Joy

I hated it growing up - thought Joy was a terrible name. My mom gave it to me cos she was so happy to have me after previous SB (I was also her first baby)

Now I think its kind of sweet...

DB3 is Charles William Benjamin (Ben)

We never felt DB2 and 3 were more special.

Collision - im loving the traditional names. Some great boys names in there.

We like James Robert or Daniel James for a boy, have decided to wait until we see what it looks like!

JARM as you know I love the name Emma as it is my DD's name.. she is Emma Lauren, which we thought flowed really nicely.
Now just wish I could find another girl's name which is as good as Emma...

I'm Emma Elizabeth and I hated it when I was growing up but I think it flows quite nicely now. My best friend is called Charlotte so I love Emma Charlotte anyway. Good luck x x
